Gracie's night started out pretty good, but she got restless again toward morning. She slept until about 5:30 a.m. Since I was staying home with her this morning we just snuggled in bed for awhile. She loves this. When we have time to snuggle she gets out of bed in the best mood!
I've come to find out that Gracie just isn't a breakfast eating girl. She'll eat just enough to get her meds in her and I'm very thankful for that. Her appetite was a little lighter today than normal, but she still did okay.
Gracie is on the mend. She didn't have a fever at all today, but is still very tired and she coughed more today than yesterday, but it seems to be a much more productive cough and not that seal barking sound.
Jeff and I took shifts again, he worked this morning and I stayed home and then he came home and I worked the afternoon. So Gracie got mommy and daddy time.
Gracie was invited to an Easter egg hunt outside today at our neighbors house (thanks Bridget - that was so sweet) but with her cough we decided it was best to keep her inside and away from the other children, so as not to spread her germs.
Gracie especially enjoyed her bath tonight. She kicked and kicked and kicked in the water, laughing the whole time. She was out of breath when she was done. She tired herself out too, we dressed her in her jammies and she was ready for beddie by time. She is now sleeping peacefully and seems to be breathing peacefully as well.
