Good Friday

Today was a pretty good day for our Little Miss Grace. As Grace was possibly still contagious, we decided to keep her home from daycare one more day. Since I (that would be dad) was already off for the day - it was a pretty easy decision.

Grace was in a real good mood for the whole day. Even when she was tired (usually her cranky time) she was pretty cheery. We had 2 naps today, consisting of about 2 hrs in the morning and a little over an hour in the afternoon. Lunch was great! We had tuna casserole, followed by a favorite lunchtime activity - luring dad in under the guise of being nice and then smearing Tuna Helper and noodles on his face. Oh yeah! That was fun - messy, but fun.

Grace has found a new type of music that she really likes. Move over Brad Paisley, Harry Belafonte is now the king. I'm sure that Mr. Paisley is still up there in Grace's top ten, but with a song like Day-o (the Banana Boat Song), how can you go wrong with Belafonte?

Grace was wired tonite. She was still awake at 9:00 when I got home from my play performance. She was having fun visiting with Auntie Arlene, Uncle Dave and cousin Brandi, who came to town to see the play. She finally went down around 9:50 or 9:55. Maybe she'll sleep late on Saturday morning. These days, sleeping in for us is 6:00 a.m. - so let's hope.

Have a great weekend. Happy Easter to all.

Love,
Jeff, Lisa, and Gracie
