Sunday - Another Fun Family Day

Gracie had another restless night. She just couldn't seem to get comfortable. There were times when she would roll over and then roll on top of me so that her head was laying on my face. She seemed to think that was comfortable for a little while. That made one of us. She awoke at 6:00 a.m. When she awoke, Gracie and I were snuggling and "talking", when she heard daddy get up and go to the bathroom to take a shower. She was very unhappy that he passed by her bedroom door but didn't come in. So we called to him and then he joined us in Gracie's bed for a few kissies and snuggles.

We all ate breakfast together and then went to Jeff's church for Sunday service. Service was at Gracie's nap time, so she was very tired. She was a very good girl though. This makes two weeks in a row that we didn't have to take her out during service for acting up. She did help sing! Then she showed off her walking skills to some members of the band. The highlight of church for Gracie was the sugar cookie she got afterward. She didn't want to lose a crumb of that. I do believe this is the first sugar cookie she has ever had and it was a hit.

Gracie could barely stay awake til we got home. She fell asleep at 11:00 a.m. and slept peacefully until 1:45 p.m. She awoke in the best mood. She was full of smiles and energy. We played all afternoon and she also got to watch "Gymbo" her favorite videotape. That is always a hit. Gracie continued to let us know when we needed to put music on in the house. That is always sure to bring smiles.

Gracie had a bath this evening and enjoyed that but I didn't see too many splashes. She was also eager to get out again. She was a tired girl tonight and fell asleep at about 7:45 p.m. and hasn't moved since I put her in bed.

Wishing you all a great week.

Love,
Lisa, Jeff, and Gracie
