Wednesday

Gracie had an okay night, not perfect but not as restless as she has been the last couple of nights. She did not want to wake up this morning and she did not want to take her meds either. Her first spoonful of meds with applesauce was purposefully dropped out of her mouth. I got out the yogurt and gave her the meds with that. She loves yogurt, but it makes her not feel well because of the dairy. We've tried soy yogurt and she doesn't like that.

Gracie had a good day at daycare and came home to meet with Emily her special education teacher. Gracie was quite tired, but was very happy to see Emily and had lots of smiles for her. After Emily left, the only way I could get Gracie to eat her meds was with a chocolate chip cookie and a pear. She ate very little, again, just enough to get the meds in. She wanted nothing else to eat and had two pretty nasty diapers. I wish I could find some yogurt or something similar without dairy.

Gracie didn't really want to go to sleep tonight. So as she was supposed to be falling asleep, she picked up her stuffed bunny and told me "bunny", then to my amazement, she said "hop, hop, hop". Then she took the bunnies paw and helped it wave and she said "bye".

She is now sleeping very peacefully in her Hello Kitty pajamas. Meow.

Love,
Lisa, Jeff, and Gracie
