Gracie had a good night last night. We've had quite a few of those in a row. It makes me wonder if most of the tossing and turning she used to do was because her ears were always bothering her. Hmmmm.
Gracie was mommy's girl all morning and did not want me out of her sight. She was not happy when I went to take a shower.
We had an early lunch and headed to Wisconsin to my Goddaughter's (and great-niece) graduation party. Congratulations Elizabeth! We're so proud of you. Gracie did pretty good in the car and even took a 30 minute nap, thankfully. Once we got there it took her a little while to warm up, but once she did she had a really good time. There were dogs and a cat that made her very excited. Then she got to go see the calves and she was delighted. This was the first time she has seen a cow close up and we had to make many trips to see them. I've worked on "what does a cow say?" with her for a long time. She learns so much easier when she has first hand experience. Now if you ask her what a cow says, she'll be sure to tell you "mooooooooooooo".
Gracie was so tired, we were hoping she would sleep on the way home. Well about 20 - 30 minutes from home she finally fell asleep. I carried her into the house, changed her diaper and clothes and she went right back to sleep. She is sleeping very soundly and peacefully.
Love,
Lisa, Jeff, and Gracie
