Thursday - More New Friends

Gracie had a good night's sleep and was so peaceful this morning that I didn't want to wake her up. I even opened the shade in her room, thinking that would wake her up -- nope.

Gracie had a good day today and when we got home from daycare we ate a quick supper and went outside for a walk. When we were just about home we saw our neighbor family a number of houses down had a puppy - a beautiful black standard poodle. This family has six children and they are the nicest kids, and parents too. So we stopped to see the puppy and they let Gracie pet him. I was talking to the dad, when I looked over and Gracie had slipped her hand into the hand of the 12 year old. They were so good to Gracie, letting her pet their new puppy. Then they took the puppy for a walk just a little way down the sidewalk and Gracie was right in with the other kids. It was so sweet to see her joining in.

Daddy had to work late tonight and I was just reading her a bedtime story when daddy arrived home. She greeted him with the biggest smile.

Now she is sleeping peacefully. Spongebob jammies tonight.

Love,
Lisa, Jeff, and Gracie
