Gracie took her musical fish sensory toy in the car to daycare this morning and that kept her occupied for the whole ride there. She had a good day at daycare and Jeff picked her up this evening. When I got home she came running to the gate and before I could even open it was getting hug after hug after hug. Then came kisses. I am one lucky mommy.
Gracie was not into her ice cream or much of anything tonight until Jeff reheated some soup we had made earlier in the week. She couldn't get enough of that. I thought she might have a sore throat, but she let me look in her throat and it looked good. Jeff on the other hand has a throat that doesn't look so good.
Tonight she had moments of great happiness and of great unhappiness. She had a really hard time falling asleep, but is finally in la-la land.
Since I don't have much to say today...thought you might enjoy some pictures from the summer.

Playing in the sand can make a girl very thirsty. Do you think mom will notice if I take a sip of her Diet Coke???
One of Gracie's most favorite things to do...take mom and dad for a walk. Do you think she is pretending we are puppies??? Hmmm.
Love,
Lisa, Jeff, and Gracie
