New Word Wednesday

Hello, it is dad's turn to write tonite. Grace had a good night, and woke up about 4:45 this morning - which was okay, because - working back on the early shift, I was already up, and Lisa would be be up in 15 minutes anyway.

Not much for breakfast or lunch today - but overall a good day at daycare. It would seem that Gracie has made a new friend. Ever since returning to daycare, Heidi (the official dog of daycare) has proclaimed herself as Gracie's guardian and the two are now inseparable - as you can see by this picture taken during nap-time.

Tonite was a physical therapy night. We have some new exercises to strengthen Grace's hip muscles and train her to sit in positions conducive to good posture. Our therapist was impressed with how motivated Grace was and how well she was picking up the new concepts.

We had a few new words today. One, when asked, "what does Heidi say" was, "arf". "Hi", "Hot" and "Hey" are becoming more pronounced and common as well. We also, sort of, say the name of our guardian, "Hi-duh" (Heidi).

Overall a good day.
