Mommy is on blog duty today. Gracie was very restless from 2:00 a.m. on. She was up for about 45 minutes at 3:45 a.m., she finally fell back to sleep and then was up again at 5:45 a.m. I thought perhaps she was hungry but only drank about 2 ounces of formula. We all got up and played and ate breakfast and then Gracie gave Mommy and Daddy the best Valentine's present EVER. All three of us layed down on Gracie's big girl mattress for a nap at 8:30 a.m. and we all slept peacefully until 11:10 a.m. It felt GREAT! Gracie awoke in the best mood and was full of snuggles for mommy and daddy.
Gracie had a great day. She even took another 40 minute nap this afternoon, just enough time that I had time to prepare a nice Valentine's dinner for the three of us. Daddy came home from band practice just in time for us to eat dinner as a family.
Gracie's wonderful mood continued into the evening. She was very playful and full of smiles and giggles. She has such a sparkle in her eye when she smiles, it just lights up her whole face and makes mommy and daddy both melt.
On this Valentine's Day we are so thankful for health...and the love of all those around us. We send all of you our love and we hope you had a special day.
