Early Monday

Our day started out at 4:00 a.m. again this morning. Gracie was intent on walking the floor for about 30 minutes - too tired and restless to sleep. We finally managed to settle on the couch and she fell asleep from about 4:30 - 6:45.

Grace was running a bit of a temp this morning, but we managed to get that down by lunch time. It would also appear that our girl has caught another cold. We will have to keep a close eye on it, as her immune system is still compromised. I certainly hope a trip back to the hospital is not on the docket.

She was quite restless early on and it looked like morning nap wasn't going to happen. Again, our faithful couch to the rescue. We had a bottle of moo-juice and she was asleep before it was completed. We slept for about 45 minutes (yeah, "we". Dad was tired too).

The afternoon was pretty good. Grace had enough energy to play, walk the entire length of the house, and even play a joke on dad. We were sitting on the floor together and suddenly she leaned on me like she lost her balance. I eased her down to the floor and asked, "Gracie, are you okay?" - She just smiled and laughed. "Odd that she would giggle about losing her balance," I thought. Then she did it again and it quickly became apparent that she thought this was a riot. She was just messing with dear old dad! I love her sense of humor.

Anyway, off to bed! I expect to be walking the hallways again at 4:30 a.m. - so better get some rest now.

Thank you for your continued prayers and thoughts.

Have a great day - and get plenty of sleep (if you have any extra, send it to our house)!

Love,
Jeff, Lisa, and Gracie
