Gracie had a pretty good night and woke up in a good mood. I find that if her Minnie Mouse figurine is in bed talking to her when she wakes up, it puts an instant smile on her face. Minnie will have to be there in the morning more often.
Gracie had a good day at school and was happy to be there. Took a very short nap at daycare and got frustrated with the other little girls at daycare today when they were playing on the mini playset. Gracie decided to pinch them. Mandy gave Gracie a timeout to re-group and get the frustration level down. This helped immensely. I just love that Mandy is consistent with us in how she handles these kind of situations. Consistency is key for Gracie.
Gracie was a dancing queen tonight when she got home. She didn't want supper, although did eat a part of a banana a little later. She was very tired tonight and had moments of being very happy and moments of being very sad. She liked when daddy would hold her and sing to her. We were going to let daddy keep holding her and singing her to sleep, but she decided only mommy would do at sleepy time. It didn't take her long at all to fall asleep.
