Gracie had an awesome night and awoke in a great mood. She was such a happy girl this morning. I took her to daycare and was not loving driving in the fog. It was so thick you could have cut it with a knife.
Gracie had a good day at daycare. She went to the park, got to swim in the kiddie pool, and run through the sprinklers. She also got books read to her and had fun with the other kids. I did get a call from our daycare provider later this afternoon, as Gracie had another absence seizure. So I contacted our pediatric neurologist and we have decided to increase Gracie's morning dose of seizure meds. We're not quite sure why her current dose isn't doing the trick, as she hasn't gained any weight recently at all. Hopefully this will take care of the seizure issue.
Tonight we had our neighborhood National Night Out party. We have great neighbors and got to meet a few new ones. We all had fun until Gracie wiped out on the cement when she was running. She skinned both knees and an elbow big time. I took her in the house and stuck her in the tub to clean everything. She is allergic to bandaids, so we had to leave them uncovered and a little oozie.
Gracie loved all the puppies and kittens at our party. The kittens she got to see through the window. The puppies were all hands on and she got lots of puppy kisses.
Gracie got to bed about an hour later than usual. She fell asleep instantly. Sweet dreams little girl, sweet dreams.
Love,
Lisa, Jeff, and Gracie
