Gracie had an okay night, but woke up in a good mood after a little snuggling. She didn't think she really wanted any breakfast this morning, although she did eat the 4 mandatory bites of yogurt needed to get the seizure meds down. She fed her cereal to her baby doll. She drank her orange juice right down and of course, her favorite part of breakfast, her Flinstone vitamin was gobbled right up.
She was sober and a bit tired on the drive to daycare, wasn't sure she wanted mom to leave, but when her 7 year old buddy suggested they dance, she decided it might be okay. She had a good day and even colored a Care Bear picture. It is so cute and she was one proud little girl when I got to see it. Jeff picked her up and they got a little bonding time before I got home. She was happy to see me and snuggle, but she was daddy's girl tonight.
Gracie was very intrigued by the storm that blew through. It was the most aware she has ever been of weather. She pointed out to me that the wind was blowing. She blew with her mouth and signed "wind". Then said "rain" as well as signed it, when it started to rain. She got very concerned and a little scared when it thundered. We assured her it was fine and she gave us this "okay if you say so" face.
We stayed inside tonight with the wet stormy weather and had a great time singing, dancing, splashing in the tub, and coloring with markers. She was such a good girl tonight. She was so happy, ate a ton of supper, and didn't fuss about hardly anything. It was a good night.
Love,
Lisa, Jeff, and Gracie
