Gracie ended up sleeping for 12 hours last night. She awoke a little before 6:00 a.m. and was in a great mood all day. She was just plain silly at times.
She insisted upon taking her V-tech laptop along in the car to daycare. It plays music and she be-bopped the whole way there.
Jeff picked her up from daycare and they had a good time playing together at home. She was daddy's girl for the rest of the night. She had a lot of independent words tonight and was a very happy, funny girl. She ate a good supper and was excited to take her bath and splash her dad!
She even let daddy be the one to sing her to sleep tonight. Usually that is mom's job, but since daddy will hardly see her next week due to a conference he'll be working, I wanted them to be able to spend as much time as possible together.
It was a good day.
